Tupperware in my studio: part 4

tupperware02-01I have always been drawn to little boxes and bags; maybe it’s because I enjoy organizing things. In any case, I can always find lots of uses for these little Tupperware clamshell boxes. I’m not sure, but they may have been called “Packables.” I like that the lid is permanently attached so I can’t lose it. I have two different sizes, but I know there are other sizes and shapes. When not in use, I can store the smaller one inside the larger one. These containers are especially nice when you have to pack up your supplies to go to a workshop or retreat.

tupperware02-02Just so you can get an idea of size, six spools of thread easily fit in this one. It is 5-1/2″ by 4-1/2″ by 2-3/4″.

tupperware02-03The smaller is the ideal size for a travel sewing kit. It easily fits a spool of thread, some needles, a small pair of scissors, etc. It would also be good for a small first aid kit for your car. It is 4″ by 3-1/4″ by 2-1/2″.
