Ah, so much has happened and yet, in many ways, it seems as if time has stood still. By necessity, my priorities changed. My focus changed. My world changed. After my sweet hubby passed away in October 2015, other things besides quilting captured my attention. I know it will not be permanent. It’s just a season. I know I will return to quilting in time. Until then, this has kept me busy.

I understand. My world changed too, when my husband Doug passed away after suffering a bad stroke in April 2016. Life has gone on with family joys – weddings and babies but hes always missed. Our anniversary was yesterday. We would have been married 49 years. Its approaching the two year anniversary and Im not sure where time has gone. You and your husband came to our quilt guild In Champaign county and I enjoyed your program and talking with him.Wishing you well as we both continue our life journeys without our wonderful partners.

    1. I’m so sorry for your loss, Katha! Dave loved going with me when I taught. I am very thankful for those times we had and the memories we made together. I’ve also been thankful for the grandbabies who are such a bright spot in the midst of the sorrow.
