Bloggers’ Quilt Festival

Bloggers’ Quilt Festival :: Spring 2011 starts today! This is a fun opportunity to see loads of quilts without leaving the comfort of your own home. If you have a blog, I hope you might join in the fun, too. Since Mother’s Day was just a few days ago, I thought this would be a good time to share my “Broken Dishes” quilt. Broken Dishes shout out

Wayne Kollinger gave me a very nice shout out on his blog today. He saw my “Broken Dishes” quilt and really liked it. Wayne has a great blog that explores traditional quilt blocks. He stretches and distorts them, plays with the coloring, and shows how to draft them. I felt an immediate kinship with his website because I did computer drafting for 17 years. Thanks so much, Wayne!
