Years ago I snagged this cool cubbyhole shelf. Have I mentioned how much I love cubbyholes and drawers? I saw this out of the corner of my eye as I was driving by a garage sale. I immediately stopped, ran over, and plunked down my $5. I was thrilled! Then I hurried home and put it in my quilting studio. Through the years I’ve looked for small containers to create drawers. I’ve collected a hodgepodge of Tupperware containers, plastic boxes, cardboard boxes, even disposable aluminum loaf pans. They helped keep small things contained, but it always looked messy to me. I know, I know. It was usable, but I wanted more! Last week I searched the web for small plastic boxes that would work. I couldn’t find anything that was the right measurements, so I finally settled on some white cardboard boxes/bins. The order arrived yesterday, so today (instead of doing what I was supposed to do) I just had to reorganize my cubbyholes. Ahhhh (sigh of satisfaction) …somehow they make everything look so much better. I think I just like uniformity and consistency. The only drawback is that I had to buy fifty, but I really needed fifty-six. Now I’ll need to look around for a source where I can buy just six more. In the meantime I need to find a home for these leftovers!
