This is my mother-in-law, Ellie. For as long as I’ve known her, she has dyed her hair red so I decided I needed to do a red silhouette for her. She was born in 1937, so I picked some 30’s reproduction fabrics. I also embellished the fabric with some hand embroidery, which is her favorite activity.
Tomorrow I’ll post instructions on how to combine several people into one quilt.
