The third day of the New Year. Another day spent helping my mom, although I did get home a little earlier today. Still, very tired from some heavy duty work. I spent the rest of the day blowing my nose due to dust allergies. Well, I wasn’t going to let that hold me back. I got in the studio to work on emptying a few more boxes. Granted, I’m still working on the easy boxes! But I did empty and organize fabric from quite a few more boxes, so I’m making headway.
The next cabinet will be more difficult because it was one that had been in the garage for many years and is filled with all kinds of miscellaneous stuff. I may just dump it all in a big box for now and deal with it down the road.
I’ve also got to figure out what I’m going to do with my quilt books. I gave the bookcase that I used to use to my daughter so she would have a place for her homeschool supplies. Maybe I’ll make room in one of these cabinets. Or, maybe I’ll just get rid of a bunch of them. I have loads of quilt history books. Anyone interested?

I’m on a very small budget I only get small amounts of fabric at a time and it’s gone so fast because I love to make quilts not that I get to keep them I have three daughters and I lost count of the grand children and grate grand children they all want to have quilts to use and a keep sake one. I’m 74 and it takes so long to save up for fabric I can’t seam to get quilting books I appreciate the history of quilting, but if you have quilting patterns you would like to give away I would make good use of them. Thank you for sharing your pictures and ideas you are very talented Carol Barnes
Hi Carol,
I certainly understand living on a small budget! I will let you know when I get around to unpacking my books, but I generally don’t purchase patterns at all.
