She said I could talk about anything I wanted, and there was no limit to the number of words. You know, that makes it a lot harder! Where do I start? What do I say? I settled for a simple introduction. I like simple. Hope you’ll enjoy it, too.

Wow! Your work is amazing…incredible and very unique! What is your “inspiration”?
I’m not sure I could really pinpoint my “inspiration.” I don’t think my mind works quite like that. I just know that I have a strong need to be creative, and when I’m not, I become very depressed. I am blessed with having a very supportive, close-knit family, and they often appear on my quilts.
I enjoyed your blog on Stash Manicure today. I had not seen your 9/11 piece before. It is very moving – and the best piece I’ve seen done as a memorial to that tragic day. You have a wonderful way of bringing your pieces to life and you project so much emotion and personality in them.
