Last night I had great fun teaching the Warren County Quilt Guild of Maineville, Ohio about color in quiltmaking. I love color! I think color is what draws many of us to quiltmaking. It certainly lures me into the fabric stores!
This lovely quilt guild gave me the opportunity to talk about various color schemes and different ways to use them. There were so many great questions as I spoke. I love that! It makes me feel like I’m not alone. I ended the lecture by showing a dozen or more of my own quilts and discussed the way color was used in some of them. Thanks, ladies, for your kind attention and participation! I had a great time and I hope you did, too.
