I worked fairly diligently today — at least several hours — and I’m making progress. I still want to work on the two lower corners. I haven’t done a very good job working those out yet, but maybe I’ll have another hour or two after dinner. I’m also considering making the edges curved rather than having the quilt be a strict rectangle. I can see pros and cons of both. I think that’s what I like best about quiltmaking. It’s a series of little problems that need to be solved.

Lookin’ good! I really like what you have going on now. And the idea of curved edges is a favorite of mine. Why always be so square? 🙂
That’s what I’ve been thinking, too, Mary.
Lookin’ good! I think you are right, the lower corners need a little more of “something”, maybe more brown? I’ll tell Nancy next time I see yer that you are diligently working away!! Keep it up!
Thanks, Beth! Hope to do some quilting on George today. Just can’t decide on the color thread to use.
