Today I had the fun of speaking at North Coast Needlers in Westlake (Cleveland), Ohio. I’m actually an introvert, so I was pretty nervous and my voice was shaking, but everyone was so nice and encouraging, that after showing a few of my quilts, I was able to relax some and enjoy the interaction with the guild members. I brought some of my earliest quilts so everyone could see where I started from. I like showing my quilts in chronological order because I think it’s fun to see how a quilter changes and grows through the years. I also had the opportunity to speak about the Lost Quilt Come Home website, which is near and dear to my heart.
Thank you, Linda, for coordinating my time up there. I had a wonderful time!
