In the past I used to got to see the show in person nearly every year. My sister, my mom and I would use it as an excuse to have a mini reunion. I don’t think I’ll be going to the show this year, but I enjoy knowing that my quilts will be there.

Hi Maria, This was my first year entering the IQF show and my quilt was rejected… but I am not at all disappointing… I will try again next year. My mom and I are making the trip for the first time this year so I really look forward to seeing your quilts in person. Congratulations!!

Hi Maria,
I would have been shocked if you hadn’t been accepted. Your quilts are stunning, as always. This will be the first year in seven that I don’t have anything in the show and that’s because I didn’t enter.
Congratulations, Maria! They are both wonderful pieces. Can’t wait to see them up close and personal.
(I especially have a fondness for “Captivated” because I am such a book person myself. )
Congratulations Maria! Your work is … well, captivating! LOL! I just love peeling back the layers, there’s always something more to look at. Good luck in the show, but I suspect that this is truly a case of the biggest honor being that you had two pieces chosen. Anything more is just icing on the cake.
