I’m very happy to announce the arrival of the newest member of our family, little Aliza Hope! Aliza made her appearance this morning, February 18 at 8:18 AM. She was 6 lbs 1 oz and measured 19-1/4″ long.
Aliza is Hebrew for “Joyful.” Hope was added from the verse Romans 12:12, “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” The Romans 12 was a passage selected as a memorial to Grandpa Dave’s life. We all pray Aliza Hope will live the type of life described in the passage.

CINGRATULATIONS to all! I know I should probably reference an appropriate Biblical verse but what popped into my mind is a quilt pattern: Sunshine &’Shadows.
