Captivated Wins!

My quilt guild, the Miami Valley Quilters’ Guild, had their show this past weekend. It was so much fun seeing all the quilts! At this show, instead of having a judge, each viewer is given a ballot so they can choose their favorite in each category. I was thrilled when “Captivated” won the viewers’ choice award for the Art Quilt category.

There were a wide variety including traditional pieced and appliqued bed quilts as well as wall hangings and art quilts. This year there was also a special section to show quilts made during workshops or for guild challenges. You can see them all here.
