VBS 2010There’s always something! You know, an excuse, a reason. This week our church held its VBS (vacation Bible school). All the volunteers really did a fantastic job and the kids were thrilled. I wasn’t really directly involved, but I did go every night to take pictures. My daughter and her husband were both recruited so each day they spent a lot of time at our house before and after. I loved being with them, and it was a good excuse for why I haven’t done any quilting this week. I’m sure you’ve used all the same excuses: I had company, it’s hot, I’m tired, there’s only thirty minutes before I have to leave, etc., etc.
Enough of that! No need for excuses. I prefer to think of this time as letting ideas percolate.
