Analogous wedges I finished off the analogous wedges this morning. The two outer columns use all of the colors. In the second column I concentrated just muted oranges, in the middle column just muted yellow-oranges, and in the fourth column are muted yellows and yellow-greens. It’s nice to be able to compare the various browns and identify the undertones.
Analogous leaves Once I finished the wedges, I picked out some of the same fabrics and did this simple composition of leaves. I used white, middle gray, and black for the backgrounds to show how a color seems brighter or duller based on the surrounding colors.
