It’s time for a proud Grandma moment! I happy to announce that Hazel Rinoa has arrived!!! She was born on May 6 at 7:53 PM after 28 hours of labor. She was 7 lbs 5 oz. As you can imagine, the new mommy and daddy are so thrilled!

I like that DD#2 and her husband choose meaningful names.

  • Hazel is a derivative of the Hebrew name Hazael which means “God sees” or “God has seen.”
  • Rinoa is a character from a series the new Daddy enjoyed in his youth. Rinoa means light.

I think that is a very appropriate name for Amalya‘s little sister.
