I’m on Stash Manicure

Stash ManicureI’m the guest blogger on Stash Manicure today. Madame Samm invites lots of guest bloggers to be part of her blog. There’s always something to see or read that is inspiring!

She said I could talk about anything I wanted, and there was no limit to the number of words. You know, that makes it a lot harder! Where do I start? What do I say? I settled for a simple introduction. I like simple. Hope you’ll enjoy it, too.

  1. Wow! Your work is amazing…incredible and very unique! What is your “inspiration”?

    1. I’m not sure I could really pinpoint my “inspiration.” I don’t think my mind works quite like that. I just know that I have a strong need to be creative, and when I’m not, I become very depressed. I am blessed with having a very supportive, close-knit family, and they often appear on my quilts.

  2. I enjoyed your blog on Stash Manicure today. I had not seen your 9/11 piece before. It is very moving – and the best piece I’ve seen done as a memorial to that tragic day. You have a wonderful way of bringing your pieces to life and you project so much emotion and personality in them.

    1. Thanks, BJ!

  3. My dear Maria..your quilts as do your words move me, moved the many visitors who visited you and will visit you here ….
Thank you …every one of your quilts took my breath away and you my dear inspire me.

    1. Thank you, Madame Samm! I really appreciate you kindly allowing me to be a guest blogger! I love doing trunk shows for guilds, and it turns out that virtual trunk shows are just as much fun. Thank you, everyone, for your comments 🙂
