I took a deep breath and started painting the face and hand yesterday. I’m happy with it for the most part. Mostly, I’m glad that part is over! It’s always a bit stress-inducing 🙂
I took a picture of the work in progress and opened the file in Photoshop Elements. This allowed me to audition various color choices for the clothing and background. I had some general ideas in mind before I started, but I took time to play with a few online color tools as well.
- Colors on the Web has a Color Wizard. You put in a color code and it tells you which colors to use for each standard color scheme.
- Color Schemer Online gives you sixteen suggested coordinating colors, but it doesn’t break those down into specific colors schemes.
Today I paint the background. Choices, choices…
