More Nancy Crow

I just got back from an amazing week! Someone anonymously and generously made it possible for me to experience a second week with Nancy Crow. I was surprised, honored, and humbled. It was a terrific experience, and I’m still recovering. It made me realize how much I need to learn, and it made me hungry to do more!!!

I had one week to prepare. Fortunately, I did not even have time to unpack from my previous week. So, I scrambled to replenish my fabric supply — a hardship, to be sure. The workshop that was offered to me was “Lines, Curves, Circles & Figure-Ground Composition.” Lines and curves are definitely what I’m drawn to, so it was a perfect fit.

I don’t have time to go into everything right now, but in the next few days, I’ll share some of what I made.

Did you notice the wonderful bottle sunflowers above? Nancy’s husband made that! Wouldn’t it be wonderful in my front yard? With blue bottles, of course.

More in the coming week.
